We need more people like Edwards who just simply do the right thing. But what he did wasn't simple, it was hard for him and his family. People like Edwards deserve highest recognition. They are few in these days of going along with the grain type of behavior, possibly for the sake of keeping afloat. Or maybe those in charge of all that keeps ordinary citizens safe lack good character. Whatever the reason for those holding positions responsible for the welfare of people, for maintaining safety, health, and in these hard times sanity, there is no excuse for this continous effort on their part to disregard their responsibilities, and not have any real consequences to such acts. To all those in the most powerful positions, take heed, if you have bad character eventually you will be found and dismissed, if you have good character but fail to run a tight ship resign and accept your incompetence to be a leader. Virginia Tech keep producing the very best!
